Once again there is just enough wood to point out along with hints of menthol

this wine is now a candidate for drying out given its hollow middle and hard

Far less impressive after bottling than it was from cask

smoke and iodine

Both the 2010 and the 2009 continue to blow me away every time I taste them

Domaine Chevalier Blanc Vintage:2005 Once again there is justThere are reductive, flinty touches to the nose its still extremely young with green and red apple notes and some clear slate and wet stone minerality. The palate widens as it opens in the glass, deepening and revealing nectarine and stone fruit flavours. Its an excellent wine in a year that keeps on delivering right through the palate and hangs on for more.
